I partnered with Erica Faulhaber, the therapist at New Directions Colorado that specifically works with eating disorders, disordered eating, and trauma therapy, to explain the role adequate nutrition has on performance and health in the female athlete.
As we know, nutrition is the fuel our body needs to perform at the highest level. Without adequate fuel, the body begins to deplete and normal functions are altered. The same is true for performance + nutrition.
See how under fueling, calorie restriction and skipping meals can negatively impact the female athlete's healthy and performance here.
